Summer break in 2017

The Station 17-TanzBar and the Lab for artistic experiments go to the well-earned summer break.
barner 16's day support, the Lab for artistic experiments will be open again from Monday the 7th of August, 2017.
barner 16's next disco, the Station 17-TanzBar takes place on Thursday the 7th of September, 2017 in the Monkeys Music Club, Hamburg (Germany).
The other parts of the barner 16 remain open throughout the summer.

Screen printing workshops at the sieben

Who wants to learn silk screen printing, can do it at the sieben. No previous experience is required. The workshop includes the motif design by hand or digitally. Likewise the draft can be printed on your own textiles. The tools are available.

Dain Fadinzt: For Kristin

From the Kollektiv Barner 16 emerged another band: Dain Fadinzt. The members were casted by Heidi Fischer to celebrate the publication of her autobiography Kreiselverkehr. Now Dain Fadinzt stands on its own feet with the first EP: Für Kristin.

   

Story Teller in the Confetti Café

Confetti in the head of the Story Teller

Every Tuesday afternoon the Konfetti-Café opens its doors in Hamburg-Altona (Germany). On the 8th of August, 2017 the Story Teller take a visit from 2 pm to 5 pm. The writers from the barner 16 read their own lyrics. Afterwards poems will be written  together by interested guests and the Story Teller. All are welcome: residents of the district, people of all generations, walkers, but above all people with dementia living at home and their families. The café is a part of the nationwide activation campaign Konfetti im Kopf, which uses the motivating strength of art, culture and meeting to raise the public awareness of the issue of dementia. The admission is free.
